Veterinary Oral Surgery

From jaw fractures and dental defects to oral tumors and disease, there are several reasons why a pet may require veterinary oral surgery. At North Shore Animal League America’s Pet Health Centers, we have a dedicated in-house surgical suite that’s fully equipped to provide services including:

  • Oral examination
  • Dental cleaning
  • Radiology
  • Periodontal surgery
  • Tooth extraction
  • Tumor removal
  • Palate surgery
  • Salivary gland surgery
  • And more

Most pets tend to recover and return to their daily routines quickly after oral surgery. In fact, most pets will eat the day of surgery or very soon thereafter. Feeding soft food is usually recommended until healing is complete or you’re instructed by your veterinarian to return to their normal diet.

Schedule an appointment at our Pet Health Centers today if your pet has an oral health problem.
