Our Pet Health Centers, accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, are currently open for appointments (including spay/neuter and dental procedures) while continuing to make sure our community remains as safe as possible.
At this time, we are allowing clients to walk into both the Don and Karen LaRocca Wellness Center and the Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Veterinary Medical Center to check in for all appointments. To limit the number of people in our facility, we will allow one (1) adult per patient inside the waiting room, as well as in the exam room if they choose. We are still practicing social distancing protocols inside our waiting rooms. This means if we are at max capacity, clients will be asked to wait outside or in their vehicle and will be notified by cell phone when they’re able to enter the facilities.
Due to staffing constraints, our Pet Health Centers will not be able to accommodate any new clients at this time, unless the pet was adopted from North Shore Animal League America.
We continue to follow the CDC guidelines and request that all visitors comply with continued social distancing. Face masks are required at all times while on our campus, and especially when inside any of our buildings. Clients are asked to call ahead and never just walk in. You can reach our Pet Health Centers at 516-883-2000.
